Here are the locations we use during the cross country season for our workouts. During the autumn, winter and early spring, we workout at Max Bell at the University of Manitoba. During the late spring and summer, we work out at University Stadium and Westview Park. See schedules for dates and times.
Churchill Drive (Swings)
- As you head east on Jubilee, turn right on Cockburn, drive until you come up from under the St. Vital Bridge; the swings will be on your right; OR…
- As you head south on Osborne take the exit on your right toward Churchill Drive just past Jubilee. Turn left onto Churchill Drive, drive until you come up from under the St. Vital Bridge; the swings will be on your right.
Churchill Drive (West Pumphouse)
- As you head east on Jubilee, turn right on Cockburn, just past the Bridge Drive Inn; OR…
- As you head west on Jubilee, turn left on Cockburn, just before the Bridge Drive Inn.
Westview Park (Garbage Hill, AKA The Dump)
At the corner of Wellington and Empress, proceed into the park to the top of the hill.
Kings Park (Second Parking Lot)
Drive as far as you can into Kings Park. You will come to the second parking lot.
Birds Hill Park (West Beach Parking Lot)
Take the North Drive upon entering the park. Drive until you can turn right into the West Beach Parking Lot.
